BetOnline Casino Review

BetOnlineBetOnline first got started as a land based sportsbook in 1991. Its sportsbook is so popular that Dave Mason, its manager, is quoted often by mainstream media.  It wasn’t until 2001 that they made their way online, and 2006 that they got into casino gaming.

Since then they’ve done a lot. They’ve added a poker room, mobile casino games, and games from a mixture of software providers. This creates a unique experience that’ll be hard to find elsewhere.

Oh, and they accept US players too. In fact, they’re one of the few U.S. online casinos that continue to take players from all 50 states.

So, if you like game variety, slick software and are in need of a US accepting casino, then I encourage you to read our BetOnline review.

Game Selection at BetOnline Casino

BetOnline is unique in that they use 4 different software providers. Most casinos use one, sometimes two. BetOnline uses a combination of Betsoft, DGS, Mantle Games and Global Gaming Labs.

My favorite is Betsoft because their games are in 3D. Their slots are the best. They all have fun themes that make you feel like you’re in a video game or movie. Play one and you’ll see what I mean. I recommend checking out Greedy Goblins, Under The Bed, It Came From… Venus!, Under The Sea and Rockstar.

Unfortunately, BetOnline doesn’t use Betsoft to power its mobile games. Most casinos that use Betsoft do. So BetOnline’s mobile selection is smaller and lackluster when it doesn’t have to be. But they still have 9 games to plays, including slots, blackjack and video poker. But I’m crossing my fingers and hoping they make the change soon.

To access their mobile app, just visit BetOnline and log in. You can play the games on your iPad and iPhone from your browser. I tested both and they worked fine.

But what about your other options? What games can you play on your PC?

Live Dealer

Play Blackjack, Baccarat, American and European Roulette and Casino Hold’em with a live dealer. Stakes range from $10 to $5,000 per hand. BetOnline is one of the only casinos to offer live dealer games to US players.

Blackjack Games

hoose from 6 deck Multi-Hand Blackjack, Single Hand Blackjack, European Blackjack, Spanish Blackjack, Pontoon and Pirate 21.

Table Games

Take your pick from Craps, Roulette, Three Card Poker, Caribbean Poker and Pai Gow Poker. You can make bets as high up as $500 per hand.

Slots

That does it for their casino bonuses. But if you play in their sportsbook or poker room, there are plenty more bonuses you can have.

Our Opinion: Should You Play at BetOnline?

What we do not like about BetOnline

They don’t use Betsoft for their mobile casino, and they should be. And only slots players get a ‘welcome bonus.’

The bottom line? BetOnline is worth checking out.

Has There Been a Scandal?

Their poker room has seen its share issues. We cover that in our BetOnline Poker review though, so we won’t rehash that here.

Things seem to be quiet on the casino end. No problems as of now.
