March Extravaganza Poker Tournament – 2018
This month, the Venetian of Las Vegas played host to the March Extravaganza 2018 Poker Series.
The Extravaganza offered poker players a ton of action, with 12 total events including No-Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha formats featured. Tournaments included SuperStack events, Bounty tournaments, rebuy-ins and more. There was over $400,000 in guaranteed prize pool.
March Extravaganza 2018 – Full Event Schedule
The Main Event – Highest GTD
The highest guaranteed event of the series was the $600 NLH SuperStack tournament, offering $200,000 in guaranteed prize money. The event saw a total of 611 players competing, with the guaranteed prize pool boosted with more than $110,000 in prize money. In total, $313,443 was up for grabs, with Karel Kratochvil defeating Samuel Murphy in heads-up play to earn $53,127 for his efforts.
Other Events
Another big event on the schedule was Event #11, the $300 No-Limit Hold’em Rebuy tournament. This event saw 102 players competing with 236 re-buys. In the end, it was Gerard Coyle and Luis Lopzen competing in heads-up play. Both would try their best to be the last player standing but, in the end, it would be Coyle who earned the first-place win, taking home $11,924 for his efforts.
The series was a great success with many events seeing a big increase in the overall guaranteed prize money, offering players even more money for their efforts!
