Bovada Launches Zone Poker

Bovada launched Zone Poker this week.  It is a new game where players that fold are immediately taken to a new table instead of having to wait for the completion of the hand.  This can increase the number of hands played by as much as 400%.  Each table draws a new set of players.  Like the standard Bovada tables, Zone Poker is anonymous.  It is currently only available in No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha at $.02/$.05 and $.05/$.10 blinds.  Higher limits will be added as demand increases.  This is the first fast fold option available to U.S. players since Full Tilt Poker left the market on April 15, 2011.

Winning Poker Network Peak Traffic is Now Second Largest in U.S. Online Poker

The Winning Poker Network’s peak traffic is now the second highest in all of U.S. online poker according to PokerScout.  It passed both Merge Gaming and Revolution Gaming this week.  This could be attributed to the network adding over $50,000 in prizes to its August monthly points race known as TheBeast.
