Weekly Roundup October 4 2013

New Jersey Interactive Regulations Released

The biggest news this week was the release of the New Jersey interactive gaming regulations on Friday.  The final draft was posted on the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement’s (DGE) website.  Public comments were made by a combined 28 companies and individuals.  The DGE responded to all comments.  Many were related to problem gambling and payment processing.

There was also confirmation on Friday that New Jersey regulated online gambling would go live on November 26, 2013.  That date could make it the second state to go live with regulated interactive gaming.  That is dependent on when Delaware goes live.  Delaware has yet to announce what day its online lottery games will launch.  Poker is unlikely to go live at the same time as casino games in Delaware.

Carbon Poker Reload Bonus

Carbon Poker is offering a reload bonus between now and October 14th.  The bonus is 75% up to $375.  The bonus is 75% up to $375.  It clears at a rate of 150 VIP Points for every $1 in bonus.  It releases in $10 increments and expires after 90 days.  The bonus will also expire if a withdrawal is requested.

Winning Poker Network Makes Changes to TheBeast

The Winning Poker Network, which consists of True Poker and Americas Cardroom, made a major changed to TheBeast.  The points race will now run twice per month instead of once a month as it previously did.  The first race will run between the 1st and the 15th.  The second race will run between the 16th and last day of the month.
