Euro Club Poker Bans UK Players
Last week, we first reported that Win Cake shuttered. Players in the UK were moved to Euro Club Poker. All other players were moved to Juicy Stakes, which is not licensed in the UK.
Euro Club Poker banned all UK players this week without explanation. The site appears to be closely related to Win Cake as both are under the same UK license that remains active. It is unknown why Euro Club Poker banned UK players and it appears the wait to get paid will be a slow one. The bailout plan offered by Juicy Stakes is still intact.
Revolution Gaming Rebranded as Horizon Poker Network
Revolution Gaming, home to sites like Win cake, Juicy Stakes and Intertops, changed its name to Horizon Poker Network. It also seems that the new owner is Juicy Stakes. The site appears to have inherited it from Win Cake, which shuttered last week. Win Cake told Safest Poker Sites that it was getting out of the player-to-player poker business but would remain as a platform provider.
New York Online Poker Bill Passes Committee
A New York Senate committee passed an online poker bill this week. The Racing, Gaming and Wagering Committee voted to move the bill forward by a 9-0 vote. This is the first time in the state’s history that an online poker bill made it past a committee vote. The bill may stall waiting for New York’s live casinos to open in the next year.
Super Bowl Reload Bonuses
Several sites are offering a reload bonus this weekend. Americas Cardroom and True Poker – both on the Winning Poker Network – are offering a 100% up to $500 reload bonus. The code is SUPERBOWL.
